One of My Favorite Pictures of My Son - Feb. 7, 2012

Dear Jake,

Here is one of my favorite pictures of you, from February 7, 2012.

It was late in the evening, and you were on our bed, watching the Cars movie on an iPad. I honestly think you watched this movie at least once a day for a few years when you were in this preschool age. You could quote almost the entire thing from memory.

I noticed how entranced you were by the movie this particular evening, and how the light from the iPad reflected on your face, so I was fortunate enough to capture this nice picture with an early iPhone.

So now it’s a photo that captures a favorite memory of mine — my favorite boy watching his favorite movie.
