Breathe On Me, Breath Of God

One of my favorite morning songs recently is an old hymn, “Breathe On Me, Breath of God,” written by Edwin Hatch in 1878.

There are many mornings when I wake up with my own agenda, my own idea of how things should go that day, but this song reminds me to attune myself to God’s will and plan for my life for that day.
