New Year’s Eve 2020
Dear Jake,
Tomorrow is yet another new day in a string of new days, each filled with new opportunities (and new challenges). The consistency is in God — His presence, His promises, and His peace.
My emotions may fluctuate — part of me is thrilled to see 2020 come to an end, part of me dreads turning this page without your mom. My circumstances will continue to change, but God is always faithful. So we will take each new day as it comes, leaning on the strength that God provides, thankful for the help and encouragement that comes from family and friends.
Psalm 91:2
This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I trust Him.
